In the 1950's Rock and Roll artists such as Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Elvis, and Buddy Holly took the Blues and created Rock and Roll.
This lesson gets you started playing a 12 Bar Blues in the key of 'A' with a straight feel. This is exactly what Chuck Berry played on songs like "Johnny B. Goode" and is the first of many lessons that we will explore the world of Blues ukulele.
Here are the basic chord shapes needed for this Blues
Measures 1-4 on the 'A' or I Chord
Measures 5-6 on the D or IV Chord
Measures 7-8 use the A chord just like measures 1-4.
Measures 9-12 are the E or V chord, the D or IV chord, and 2 measures of the A or I chord.
