Essential Ukulele Strumming Patterns
I know strumming patterns would be the most difficult thing for you to learn if you are a beginner. I am saying this because I have also gone through the same situation when I was learning how to strum, the first time. Something which is more tough and unnatural is to know what sort of strumming patterns fit into which song. But, there are certain patterns that are important to learn.
In this blog, I have focused on those essential ukulele strumming patterns. Since I am master in ukulele playing I know that consistency and good timing are the most required aspects of strumming. Initially, catching the strum pattern for a song can be hard to you because some songs comprise complex sixteenth note patterns whereas other use simple eighth note patterns. But once you master the basics then you will get them without any trouble.
I have played, listened and transcribed many songs and come to know that some patterns work over a variety of styles of music like Hawaiian, Blues, Christian, Jazz, and Rock. Don’t worry! you will also get to know this with practice, so, keep practicing.
